After adopting the noise-control measures of the array silencer set on the top of the pipeline, the noise level of the exhaust port is reduced, so that the surrounding sound environment is significantly improved.

Silencers for Atmospheric Flash-Tank Venting on Boilers 1 and 2
At the Huadian Yili Coal and Power site, the vent outlets of the No. 1 and No. 2 boiler flash tanks sit high on the boiler-house wall and are exposed outside the building. Noise at the outlets was around 120 dB and radiated over a long distance. Array silencers fitted at the top of the pipework reduced outlet noise and clearly improved the surrounding acoustic environment.
